
Red November Dinner 2001
The Communist Party took over a Cardiff Greek restaurant for
the night to celebrate the Bolshevik revolution, with around 50 members and
friends enjoying the fine food and drink whilst digesting the tales of Ken Gill
(Chairperson of the Cuba Solidarity Campaign and former |President of the TUC)
and Robert Griffiths (General Secretary, Communist Party).
During the course of the evening a special presentation was made
to Hilda Price (Cardiff branch) in recognition of her 60 years membership of
the Communist Party.

Ken Gill recounts his life of activity in the Communist Party
and trade union movement (above) and receives a presentation and thanks from
Robert Griffiths (below)


Dominic MacAskill (Welsh secretary, Communist Party) presents
Hilda Price with a soviet poster which was produce in 1941 the year Hilda joined
the Communist Party.
